Technology

A small toolset, used properly.

These are the technologies we build our own products with, which is the only honest reason to recommend them to you. No stack we have not shipped to production ourselves.

Principles

How we decide

The rules that keep the stack small and the codebase safe to change two years from now.

One stack, used deeply

We do not pick a new framework per project. A small toolset used across every build means the person debugging your production issue has seen the same failure before.

TypeScript everywhere

Strict types from the database model through to the UI. Most of the bugs that reach users in loosely-typed codebases simply do not compile here.

Your repositories, your cloud

Code lives in your accounts from day one. No vendor lock, no hostage infrastructure, no waiting on us to hand something over.

Performance budgeted, not hoped for

Core Web Vitals and query performance are tracked while we build. It is much cheaper than discovering the report page takes nine seconds after launch.

Access control from the start

Role-based permissions and audit trails are part of the data model, not a later feature. Retrofitting them into a live system is the expensive path.

Boring where it counts

Proven libraries for payments, auth and storage. We save the novelty for the part of the product that is actually your differentiator.

Have an existing codebase?

We audit architecture, data model and deployment, then give you a written assessment before proposing anything. Sometimes it says the code is fine and the problem is elsewhere.
