Building the product, not just the code

Code is the easy half. The Product Engineering Academy teaches the rest — discovery, scoping, building an MVP that is genuinely minimal, shipping in slices people can use, and staying responsible for it afterwards. It is the discipline behind everything else we do.

  • Start where the work happens

Before a line of code: understanding the register, the spreadsheet and the workflow the software has to replace. Skip this and you build something abandoned by month two.

  • Ship slices, not big bangs

You will learn to break a product into usable slices that reach real users early, so you are correcting course against reality instead of betting everything on launch day.

  • The half after launch

Monitoring, iteration and the invoice bug on the 1st. Product engineering includes running what you built — the part that separates software that lasts from software that quietly dies.
